A sordid affair. A 14-year-old boy was charged on Friday. He is accused of assaulting and raping a 9-year-old girl in the middle of the street in Tourcoing, in the North, according The voice of the North. The minor was placed under judicial control in a closed educational center.
Sex act in exchange for a stolen bike
The facts date back to Monday. According to the first elements of the investigation, the girl was playing with her sister in the street when a teenager accosted her to steal her bike before fleeing. While she had managed to catch up with the thief, the little girl says that the latter offered her a sexual act in exchange for the bicycle. Later discovered covered in blood by passers-by, she complains that she was then raped and molested by the young boy.
Alerted by the victim’s family, the Tourcoing police ended up finding a suspect thanks to the use of CCTV cameras. He was arrested at his home before being taken into custody. A judicial investigation for rape of a minor was opened by the prosecutor of Lille who requested his placement in pre-trial detention.
