After the FDP wants to abolish the so-called pension at 63 for those with long-term insurance and the solidarity surcharge for top earners, the SPD is mobilizing with sharp words against the coalition partner’s ideas. “The twelve-point plan is an attack on the hard-working people in our country,” says an SPD paper with internal language regulations that the South German newspaper is present. “Economic policy at the expense of the working middle and in favor of the less wealthy is the wrong path.” If liberals or conservatives really care about economic recovery, “they would have to give up their blockade against urgently needed investments in the future.”
