Many people are injured in a serious accident involving a May car in the far southwest of Germany. A day after the accident, further details became known.

The trailer, pulled by a tractor, tipped onto its side in a sloping curve in Kandern near Freiburg, causing the passengers to fall out. According to police, 29 people were injured in the accident on Wednesday, ten of them seriously. “Danger to life can still be ruled out,” the investigators reported.

Regarding the cause of the accident, the police wrote that the slow-moving vehicle turned left into a street. Because of the cross-slope of this road “as well as the loading and occupation,” the trailer tipped over to the right. According to the information, the 22-year-old tractor driver was not drunk.

According to previous information from the police, a group of friends from surrounding communities was traveling on the trailer. The members are all between 20 and 25 years old. There were therefore no children there.
