It didn’t take long for Davide Rebellin to receive his first memorials. One can be found at the Col de Castillon, near Nice and Sanremo, in the cyclist’s paradise. Rebellin often cycled past there with his friend Davide Formolo, and it was Formolo who fastened a black wheel frame to a fence at the Castillon, complete with a white ribbon and a farewell greeting: “Davide per semper!”Davide forever.
