Group of young people have an accident with a caravan

A group of young people are in a forest Reichertshausen in Upper Bavaria had an accident with a caravan and a 16-year-old teenager died. According to initial findings, a 15-year-old boy from Ilmmünster was pulling the caravan with a small truck – a Unimog – when, for an initially unknown reason, the trailer veered off the forest path in a curve and crashed into a tree, as the police announced.
According to a police spokesman, there were six teenagers and a young adult between the ages of 15 and 21 in the trailer. According to initial police assumptions, the 16-year-old was thrown out of the trailer. Despite resuscitation measures by the emergency services, the teenager died. Several of those involved suffered minor injuries such as abrasions and bruises in the accident, a police spokesman said.
The police initiated an investigation into the cause and course of the accident in the Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm district. According to initial investigations, the 15-year-old driver of the Unimog did not have the required driving license.
