Berlin – A serious traffic accident occurred in Berlin-Lichtenberg during the night from Saturday to Sunday. A car from the Uber service and a tram collided in the Alt-Hohenschönhausen district. The 46-year-old driver and his 25-year-old passenger were killed. The driver died at the scene of the accident, the passenger succumbed to his injuries in the clinic on Sunday. According to a witness, the driver in his Uber vehicle should have turned right into Liebenwalder Strasse at red from Landsberger Allee at around 0.30 a.m. Apparently he did not notice the tram.
