Shocking footage from London’s Hyde Park.
At the “Slingshot Ride”, which catapults customers into the air like a slingshot, a rope snaps just before the start.
The occupants are thrown around uncontrollably.
According to the Metropolitan Police, the passengers are two teenage boys.
A spokesman for the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland Christmas Faire explains:
“Both occupants were safely removed from the ride, evaluated by paramedics and were not injured.” – Spokesman, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, “Metro”
Luckily, the two boys escape unscathed.
The ride will be closed until further notice as a result of the incident and investigations will be launched.
