Serious accident on the A2: A coach with an Austrian license plate falls into a ditch and remains on its side. Some travelers were seriously injured.

on a coach18 people were injured in an accident on Autobahn 2 near Peine east of Hanover on Saturday morning. A police spokeswoman corrected earlier information in the morning, according to which 19 people were injured. No one suffered serious injuries, she said. All those involved escaped with minor injuries.

According to them, there were a total of 19 passengers on the bus coming from Austria. The vehicle was recovered and towed away on Saturday morning; the full closure of the A2 near Peine in the direction of Hanover was then lifted.

The vehicle left the roadway in the morning for initially unknown reasons and fell on its side in a ditch. The bus was on its way to Norway. According to the police spokeswoman, the bus company is based in Freistadt (Upper Austria).
