Art takes a stand: The Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts is announcing an “Evening Against Anti-Semitism” for Monday, November 13th. After a welcome by President Winfried Nerdinger, Charlotte Knobloch, President of the Jewish Community of Munich and Upper Bavaria, will give a welcoming speech. Sunnyi Melles and Stefan Hunstein will then read texts from Lion Feuchtwanger to Gabriele Tergit, while the pianist duo Yaara Tal and Andreas Groethuysen will interpret works from Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy to Franz Schubert.
