Both singers have also been nominated for the coveted award for the first time with one of their songs. On Sunday the trophies will be awarded for the 94th time.

Musical star power at the Oscars: US singer Beyoncé (40) and her colleague Billie Eilish (20) will present their nominated songs at the trophy gala on Sunday. This was announced by the Los Angeles Film Academy.

Beyoncé is nominated for the song “Be Alive” from the film “King Richard”, Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell for the song “No Time To Die” from the James Bond film of the same name (German title: “Keine Zeit to die”). This is their first time in the Oscar race.

Colombian singer-songwriter Sebastián Yatra (27) will present the song “Dos Oruguitas” from the animated film “Encanto” (by Lin-Manuel Miranda), as will country star Reba McEntire (66) with the song “Somehow You Do” from the film «Four Good Days» (by Dianne Warren) on stage. Irish musician Van Morrison was also invited to perform his song “Down to Joy” from the film “Belfast”, but due to tour commitments he could not attend the Oscars, the academy said.

This year’s Oscars at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood are scheduled for March 27th. The 94th Academy Awards are hosted by actresses Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes.
