Abuse in tennis: Final report burdens Hordorff – Sport

The resigned tennis official Dirk Hordorff continues to deny having sexually harassed players – a law firm commissioned by the association, on the other hand, sees numerous signs that the allegations are correct. Those affected were only allowed to read excerpts of the final report.

The German Tennis Association (DTB) is to adapt its regulations in order to be able to “prevent cases of sexual violence at an early stage and to clarify and sanction them more effectively” in the future. This is a central recommendation from the law firm that the association commissioned almost a year ago to investigate the allegations against DTB Vice President Dirk Hordorff. Hordorff resigned from all his posts in March after several former tennis players publicly accused him of sexually harassing them. He had looked after her partly as a coach or manager.
