For the public prosecutor, the Piusheim chapter is over. Two and a half years after possible cases of abuse became known in the former educational institution south-east of Munich, the investigations have been discontinued. A spokeswoman said on Sunday when asked by the DPA that the suspected cases in the former home in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising could not be clarified. The file was already closed in August. And so the central questions remain unanswered.
