ABB boss Rosengren: Crisis is the new normal – economy

The Swede Björn Rosengren has been leading the Swiss industrial group ABB for a good two years. He relies on Scandinavian leadership and hopes for a morning when there will be no crisis – so far in vain.

The technology company ABB, with its headquarters in Zurich and 100,000 employees, represents Swiss industry like few others. Björn Rosengren, 63, was brought in as a reorganizer more than two years ago by the Swedish major shareholder, the Wallenberg family. Pandemic, Ukraine war and energy crisis are just some of the problems for the man from Gothenburg.
