Three van drivers held an illegal car race on the A 99 and A 94 last Sunday. As the police reported on Thursday, the three white Mercedes Vitos were noticed around 1 p.m. on the A 99 between the Aschheim and Kirchheim junctions. The drivers were traveling at significantly higher speeds and some overtook on the right. At the Munich-Ost motorway junction, they switched to the A 94 in the direction of Passau, where they also overtook and forced other road users on the right. When they left the Autobahn near Dorfen, they were finally stopped by the police. The three drivers have to face criminal proceedings. The Hohenbrunn traffic police are still looking for witnesses to the illegal car race. They can call 08102/744 50.
