According to police reports, there was a serious rear-end collision involving three vehicles on the A8 federal motorway between the Rohrdorf and Achenmühle junction in the direction of Salzburg on Saturday morning around 9:50 a.m.
A large number of emergency and rescue workers were on site, and the motorway in the direction of Salzburg was completely closed until 10:30 a.m. One person was slightly injured in the accident. According to the police, the operation was fortunately less serious and ended more quickly than had initially been feared.
