A 21-year-old student said she was the victim of a rape on the night of Wednesday to Thursday, in a bar in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, near Montmartre, learned the Figaro from police sources. The incident happened around 1 a.m.
The victim was accompanied by a friend. During the evening, the waiter offered several glasses of alcohol to the two young women and was enterprising with one of them by trying to seduce her, without success. The two young women then decide around 1 a.m. to order an Uber driver to go home. Before leaving the premises, the victim returns inside the bar to go to the toilets, it is at this moment that the waiter would have taken her by force into the kitchen of the bar, before imposing a vaginal penetration on her, a indicated a police source quoted by the Figaro.
She also thinks she was drugged without her knowledge.
The student joined her friend who was waiting for her in the Uber. Shocked, the young woman became unwell in the vehicle and was taken by the driver to Lariboisière hospital. The Paris prosecutor’s office confirmed to Figaro that an investigation was entrusted to the 2nd judicial police district (2nd DPJ). Investigations are ongoing.
