A young man lying on the ground, barely conscious and covered in blood. This is the sad discovery made in Toulouse on the night of Wednesday to Thursday by passers-by crossing the Place du Marché aux Cochons, in the Minimes district. They immediately notified the police and emergency services, while providing first aid to the 22-year-old who had numerous stab wounds to his neck, back, head and hands.
Before being taken to the hospital, the injured allegedly confided to a witness that he had been attacked nearby. His vital prognosis was no longer engaged on Thursday but he was to undergo surgery and the police had not yet been able to question him.
While waiting for him to say more about the circumstances of this attempted homicide, the investigators are using the video surveillance images and the clues found on the spot.
