Leg injuries, a broken rib and ten days off. A 49-year-old man was seriously injured on Sunday, around two o’clock in the morning, by a car whose driver deliberately ran over him. The scene took place in the parking lot of a bar-restaurant in Colomiers, in the suburbs of Toulouse, at the time of closing. The victim came to the aid of his son, caught in a violent fight between two groups of young people who had spent the evening in the establishment.
Already identified by the police who had his registration, the suspect presented himself a few hours later at the police station. Unknown to the police, he was placed under judicial supervision at the end of his police custody, pending his trial for “violence with a weapon by destination”.
