A Ukrainian national was found after more than 24 hours of disappearance on the Bréguières north motorway area in Mougins, in the Alpes-Maritimes. Based on information from Nice morning, she was a passenger on a bus which linked Ukraine to Spain and had vanished during a stop on this area of the A8 on Saturday morning, leaving her 15 year old son with whom she was traveling.
Sunday afternoon, after spending a day and a half outside and a night under the stars, she was found “alive, disoriented, completely lost and scared,” Colonel Benne told the local newspaper. She was examined by a doctor.
Significant research resources had been deployed on Saturday morning by the gendarmes. Her husband arrived in Mougins on Saturday evening and a call for witnesses had been launched.
