A drama this Sunday morning in Nantes. Around 6:30 a.m., the Loire-Atlantique firefighters were asked to help a woman victim of an attack on the public highway. The intervention took place on Boulevard Jean-Moulin, between the Bellevue and Bas-Chantenay districts, an area where several companies are located.
“Quickly fell unconscious then in cardio-respiratory arrest, the victim could not be resuscitated”, deplores the local fire and rescue service (Sdis). His death was confirmed by an emergency doctor from the smur.
A suspect on the run
The woman was 47 years old. She was stabbed, say firefighters. A suspect, seen by witnesses, fled. A police investigation has been opened.
“Everything is being done to find the author of this appalling crime. All my support for the family and loved ones of the victim ”, reacted this Sunday morning Johanna Rolland (PS), mayor of Nantes.
