A violent fire ravages an agricultural shed housing cows

An agricultural shed was affected by a violent fire, early Friday evening, in Rougé, near Châteaubriant. A hangar fire, with an area of 1,500 m², broke out shortly before 7 p.m. The building housed cows. Not all of them could be saved. The shed also contained fertilizer. The intervention required the presence of many firefighters. Thirty were still present on site this Saturday, in particular to isolate the fertilizer.

The operation therefore lasted all night to fight against the disaster. This Saturday morning, the firefighters ruled out the risk linked to the presence of fertilizers, and ensured the extinction of the residual outbreaks. They will stay there for a good part of the day. The number of cows that died in the fire is not known.
