A 16-year-old teenager was arrested and placed in police custody on Wednesday in Nantes for having committed violence inside a public high school. The facts were committed in the middle of the morning within the Michelet Vocational High School, in the district of the same name. A student, expelled from the establishment a few days earlier, burst into the enclosure and violently attacked another high school student, just 18 years old, reports the public prosecutor, Renaud Gaudeul.
The alleged young aggressor “would have in particular struck blows with a cinder block in the face. The victim receives a total incapacity for work (ITT) for four days,” adds the prosecutor.
A supervisor who came to separate the protagonists was also slightly injured. The 16-year-old will be referred to the Nantes prosecutor’s office this Friday.
