from France Bleu, the mayor of the town, Johan Dremaux, has launched a new appeal for help to find a replacement.
“It’s been a few weeks since I made the firm and difficult decision not to give in to the vaccination obligation. This means that I will no longer be able to exercise my profession as a general practitioner ”, wrote at the end of last September. on its website, Dr Grégory Pamart, general practitioner at Jenlain for about three years. In the process, he had suspended his activity and closed his office.

It has therefore been almost three months that the approximately 1,200 inhabitants of the town must find an alternative solution to consult. An obstacle course, the Hauts-de-France countryside already suffering from a critical lack of practitioners. And it is for this reason that the mayor of Jenlain is scrambling to try to find a replacement. “I am appealing to a doctor, we are ready to welcome him, we can not wait,” he said at the microphone of France Bleu.
The mayor’s previous attempts have been ineffective. The chosen one even went so far as to post announcements directly to the medical school. For the mayor and his constituents, the solution could come from an appointment on Wednesday with the regional health agency.
