A very worrying medical report on Alain Delon’s state of health published this morning: “depressive disorders”, “impaired discernment”, “almost constant bed rest”…

Le Parisien reveals this morning a legal expertise on the state of health of Alain Delon, carried out as part of the investigation into Hiromi Rollin. This investigation concluded that the actor’s discernment was abolished. The medical expertise mentions “a psychological and physical deterioration corresponding to a major alteration of his mental health specific to the total abolition of discernment”.

According to this report, large extracts of which are published, “Alain Delon would therefore be in conditions of complete physical dependence, exposing him to the submission of people intervening at his bedside for his vital needs and for palliative care. He seems to have nothing left expect from life. The deterioration of Alain Delon’s health would have accelerated after a heavy fall and the diagnosis of lymphoma.”

The medical expert evokes “a significant alteration of discernment and a slowing of thought”.

Alain Delon saw his health deteriorate after two strokes in 2019:

“These episodes affect the mobility of the actor, who experiences difficulties with daily actions such as dressing, but above all his morale. At this period, Alain Delon struggled to accept his situation and the limitations due to his stroke” and expressed discouragement and loss of confidence. “He repeatedly states that he no longer wants to live if he has to remain disabled, causing a depressive disorder.”

Since August 2023, Alain Delon has reportedly suffered “almost constant bed rest” after his lymphoma spread throughout his body, “which would significantly impair the actor’s cognitive and motor abilities.” “The actor’s movements are increasingly limited – using canes, a walker then a wheelchair – before becoming almost impossible”, specifies Le Parisien.

The Montargis public prosecutor’s office mandated a new expert for a second opinion before deciding on guardianship or not.
