A young man, aged 17, was treated overnight from Wednesday to Thursday in Nantes for a gunshot wound, report the Loire-Atlantique firefighters. The intervention took place around 2:40 a.m. rue d’Angleterre, Malakoff district, not far from the station. The victim, who was transported to the Nantes University Hospital, was hit in the calf. However, his condition is not considered serious.
It was in this same street in England that a 28-year-old man died of several gunshots on March 20. Last week, several shootings also occurred in the Nantes conurbation, in particular the Bellevue district. A young man was killed at the exit of a tram, in Saint-Herblain, on May 17. In the hours that followed, two men were also seriously injured at a service station in Bouguenais.
