A retired couple experienced a big scare on Saturday evening in the town of Mûrs-Erigné south of Angers (Maine-et-Loire), reports The Western Mail. As they were driving home around 11 p.m., the man and his wife were surprised by a detonation. A bullet then passed through the front left window of the vehicle before embedding itself in the dashboard.
Luckily, no one was hit by the projectile, which turned out to be a .22 long rifle cartridge. Very shocked, the retired couple immediately filed a complaint with the Brissac gendarmerie. An investigation has been opened to shed light on this incident which could have been dramatic.
