A star visits the Theatiner: Ursula Meier presents her film Die Linie – Munich

This family is separated by a blue line: after Margaret (Stéphanie Blanchoud) attacked her mother (Valeria Bruni Tedeschi) during an argument, she is banned from contact by a court. She is no longer allowed to go near her mother’s house; a line painted on the floor with blue paint marks the border. But it is exactly this mark that Margaret is drawn to magically. The new film by French-Swiss director Ursula Meier was screened in competition at the Berlinale last year and will be released in cinemas nationwide at the end of this week. Before that, Meier and her leading actress Blanchoud come to the Theatine cinema and present the film personally.

La ligne – Die Linie, CH/F/BEL 2022, director: Ursula Meier, Wednesday, May 17, 8 p.m., Theatiner, Theatinerstraße 32
