The body of a brutally murdered 70-year-old man was discovered in the bathtub of his home in the 10th arrondissement of Marseille, France 3 initially reported. Two brothers, aged 14 and 18, were quickly arrested shortly after. for these acts committed at the very end of last week. The septuagenarian had numerous stab wounds and happened to have been eviscerated and slaughtered.
The reasons for such an act are currently unclear. France 3 as Provence argue that the eldest of the two brothers would have had a paid sexual relationship with the victim before deciding to return “to remove a pedophile”. A prostitution activity that the prosecution does not confirm. Investigators are also looking into a more venal motive, the victim’s apartment having been searched.
