A student, during an end-of-year snack organized Tuesday by a plastic arts teacher, handed her a glass in which a detergent product was present, according to the rectorate of the Versailles academy, confirming information from the newspaper The Parisian, which indicates that the scene occurred at the Léonard-de-Vinci college in Ecquevilly, in Yvelines. This morning, the student in question presented himself with his family to the head of the establishment to acknowledge his gesture “which he regrets”, explains the rectorate. The teacher filed a complaint.
“The teacher was taken in by emergency services for examinations. Her prognosis has not been confirmed, but she suffers from the consequences of this ingestion,” the rectorate said. An investigation has been opened to investigate the causes of the injuries; for the moment, analyzes are underway, according to the Versailles public prosecutor’s office.

The college teachers asserted their right to withdraw yesterday, Wednesday December 20, in support of the professor. A disciplinary council will take place when classes resume in January for the student who intoxicated the teacher. The latter benefits from support systems such as functional protection and support from a psychologist from the Academic Support Center for schools and establishments. “Following the request of the management of the establishment, the Academic Center for Aid to Schools and Establishments will provide support to support school life and all teaching teams,” says the rectorate.
