A rave party brings together 2,500 revelers in a field, no overflow reported



A field at the Sapenay pass (Savoie) was stormed overnight from Saturday to Sunday. About 2,500 people gathered there for a rave party, we learned from the gendarmes and the prefecture. Around 10 p.m. on Saturday, revelers began to flock to this private field, located in an uninhabited area between the municipalities of Chindrieux and Entrelacs, specifies the prefecture, confirming information from the

Up to 500 vehicles and 2,500 people were counted at this rave party which was not declared. The gendarmes carried out roadside checks for alcohol and narcotics. The prefecture has not observed any “clashes” and no complaint, neither from residents, nor from the owner of the land, has been filed so far. The revelers dismantled some installations Sunday, at midday, but the prefecture identified “a little less than 500 people are still present on the scene” Sunday evening.

“In view of the context of epidemic resumption that the country has been experiencing for several weeks, the prefect of Savoie invites the participants to this rave party, in a spirit of responsibility and citizenship, to perform a biological virological screening test by RT- test. PCR or antigen ”, also specifies the prefecture in a press release released on Sunday evening.
