A puppy fell into a basin because of a pigeon rescued by firefighters

The firefighters saved a small dog, Sunday morning, accidentally fell into a basin, in Nîmes (Gard), relates Free lunch. The dog was chasing a pigeon when he fell into the chilly water of the Nymphée, in the Jardins de la Fontaine.

According to the regional daily, the one-year-old puppy managed to swim for about twenty minutes before the rescuers came down to him. Appreciated by onlookers, amazed by the rescue, the firefighters hoisted him up to his owner, using a ladder. The newspaper recalls that on February 5, another dog had already been rescued not far from there, in the Canal de la Fontaine.
