Armed men attacked the prison convoy responsible for transferring a detainee. The latter fled with the attackers.
A prison van was attacked this Tuesday, May 14 in Eure, BFMTV learned from a source close to the investigation. At least two prison officers are dead and three others are injured.
The events took place at 11 a.m., at the Incarville tollbooth. Several armed men attacked the prison convoy which was transferring a detainee. The latter fled with the attackers.
Helicopters are flying over the area to find these individuals. Gendarmes from the local search section are also mobilized. The central GIGN, based in Versailles, is also involved.
