A portrait of the Paulaner marquee at the Oktoberfest – Munich

Coziness inside and a garden to the south of the tent that is bathed in the warm autumn sun – what more could you ask for? With 6,385 seats, the Paulaner marquee is one of the big tents. The sunny beer garden offers space for a further 1980 people.

Even from a distance you can see what is the focus here: the oversized Paulaner beer mug that adorns the entrance to the tent is hard to miss. Celebrities from the neighborhood also like to show up at the former “Winzerer Fähndl”, where singing along is part of the programme. Here, too, the players of FC Bayern Munich count as regular guests.

Like every marquee at the Wiesn, the Paulaner Festhalle also has its very own tapping ritual. Of course, the beer from the brewery of the same name is served.
