Samuel Vuelta-Simon, the public prosecutor of Toulouse, confirms that a traveler from Roissy was intercepted on Monday at Blagnac airport with a huge shipment of drugs “probably from Guyana”.
When customs officials opened her suitcase, which she claimed was not hers, they discovered 17 loaves of cocaine, or just over 20 kg of the drug.

After three days of investigation which enabled another passenger – the holder of the stolen label – to be exonerated – the conveyor was referred to the public prosecutor’s office on Thursday with a view to her being indicted for “transport of narcotics and participation to an association of criminals” by the judge appointed to investigate this large case. The prosecution requested the remand in custody of the suspect. It also specifies that “the investigation is continuing (…) with a view to identifying the other authors, co-authors or accomplices of the traffic and all the beneficiaries”.
