Since the beginning of 2022, anyone who buys drinks in the supermarket has been required to pay the deposit on all disposable plastic drinks bottles. Since 2022, the same has applied to all beverage cans without exception. So far, this has affected, among other things, mineral water, soft drinks, beer and mixed drinks containing alcohol.
After a transition period, all plastic bottles containing milk drinks will now be included from January 1, 2024 the federal government informed. This applies, among other things, to popular products from manufacturers such as Müllermilch, but also mixed coffee drinks such as those from Nescafé.
