A new lifeless body discovered in the port of Paimpol

The lifeless body of a man was discovered on Tuesday in the port of Paimpol, in the Côtes d’Armor. The floating corpse was spotted by two walkers who alerted the gendarmes,
specifies the newspaper The Telegram. The hypothesis remains to be confirmed but the clues suggest that it would be the body of a man in his thirties who has been missing for a few days. The mother of this man in his thirties had launched the alert on Tuesday, worried about not having heard from her son since January 13.

On the spot, the Paimpol gendarmerie brigade opened an investigation. An autopsy of the body was requested by the Saint-Brieuc prosecution to determine the causes of death. The first findings suggest that it is not a criminal act.

Another body recently found

This is the second body recovered in a few weeks in the port of Paimpol. The body of a 67-year-old man was discovered on January 17. A man in his thirties had been indicted for “violence resulting in death without intention to give it”. The two cases are not related, according to the gendarmes.
