A young man was shot dead this Tuesday evening, around 7:30 p.m. in the third arrondissement of Marseille. According Provence, the victim was in a grocery store when at least one person opened fire on him. Hit by several bullets, the individual died on the spot, despite the rapid arrival of help.
This new homicide, which is akin to a settling of accounts against the background of drug trafficking, is the eighth death in this district of Marseille which has been sinking into a bloody spiral since September. According to our count, this would be the 27th settling of scores committed in Marseille and its surroundings since the beginning of the year.
