As the end-of-year holidays approach, some communities do not hesitate to use humor to gradually get into the Christmas spirit. In La Regrippière (Loire-Atlantique), the mayor has decided to issue an order “authorizing the occupation of the public domain for the installation of the sled”, which can be consulted on Facebook. Objective: to allow the vehicle of the old bearded gentleman, who moved last week to this commune in the Nantes vineyards, to park legally in front of the multipurpose room and in the public garden until January 15.
“Considering that the inhabitants of the commune of La Regrippière have the right to happiness and joy during this time of the year”, this decree which must obviously be taken in the second degree also prohibits “any hunting operation (.. .) on Santa’s reindeer.” On the contrary, Tornado, Dancer, Fury, Dashing, Comet, Cupid, Thunder, Lightning and Rudolph will be treated so well that they have received authorization “to drink from the moat pond”.
