The authorities did not have time to trigger the Kidnapping Alert plan. A 36-year-old woman was arrested Thursday in Paris, an hour after kidnapping her 11-year-old daughter from a home in Draveil (Essonne). According to a source familiar with the matter, those in charge of the home alerted the police at around 5.30 p.m. of the girl’s disappearance. All suspicion is on the mother whose justice has forbidden her to approach her children.
Investigators note that her phone triggers relays in Maisons-Alfort (Val-de-Marne) and determine that she is in the RER D towards Paris. The departmental direction of public security of Essonne immediately warns the headquarters of the police headquarters.
Lyon station stop
A major device was then deployed at the Gare de Lyon. The officials of the railway network brigade, supported by SNCF agents, block the train at the quayside. It is 6:25 p.m. when they find the mother and her child. The girl was brought home while her mother was taken into custody at the 12th arrondissement police station.
