his wife and four children, according to RMC. The man should be presented to an investigating judge with a view to his indictment and possible placement in pre-trial detention, this Thursday, December 28, if his mental state allows it. Psychologically unbalanced, the justice system could also decide to commit him to a psychiatric ward.

The man, born in Colombes (Hauts-de-Seine) and aged 33, had known the victim since high school. A couple for 14 years, they married in October 2023 and had four children, two girls, the oldest of whom was born in 2013, and two boys, the youngest of whom was 9 months old. He was arrested Tuesday morning in the department of Seine-Saint-Denis, in Sevran, at his father’s house.
