A mayor files a complaint after the distribution of neo-Nazi leaflets in mailboxes

It was not the breakfast friend who spent Sunday in La Neuville-Chant-d’Oisel (Seine-Maritimme). In the mailboxes of the inhabitants of this town about fifteen kilometers south-east of Rouen, there was a neo-Nazi leaflet. Above, everything that can make his breakfast: swastikas, anti-Semitism, racism, homophobia, etc.

Mayor LR of the commune Julien Demazure announced on BFM having “filed a complaint for incitement to hatred and incitement to violence […], we wanted to react very quickly to be able to try to find this individual who, obviously, obeys a national network. It would be an individual, in all likelihood, outside the municipality, and who would have perpetrated this act of nauseating propaganda. »

“Leads” and “Clues”

An investigation has been opened by the police. “We already have some leads, the mayor of La Neuville-Chant-d’Oisel. We have clues that allow us to identify a profile and we hope that we will be able to put a name on this person soon. »

For such acts, the perpetrator faces one year’s imprisonment and a fine of 45,000 euros.
