The drama was narrowly avoided in Malakoff (92). This Monday, a 26-year-old man was taken into police custody, the Nanterre prosecutor’s office told 20 minutesconfirming information from Parisian. Accused of attempted murder, the man is suspected of having sprayed another individual with flammable liquid before setting it on fire. The 35-year-old victim suffered second-degree burns to his upper body and part of his face.
Supported by the emergency services, the individual was transported to Clamart hospital “but should not have any permanent disability”, according to the prosecution. The perpetrator, who remained there, was arrested by the police.
A dispute over a woman
The facts would have taken place a little before 8 p.m., on the Place du 11-Novembre, in the city of Hauts-de-Seine. It is a dispute related to a woman who would have provoked the fight between the two men, friends, who participated in a barbecue.
The prosecution specifies that people present on the spot must give their testimony and that, for the moment, the author of the facts has not yet been heard.
