A man injures four passers-by with a pellet gun Porte de La Chapelle

A man was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of firing a pellet rifle at passers-by, reports The Parisian. His custody was extended on Wednesday. The incident took place around 4 p.m. Witnesses reportedly saw the shooter fire from the window of a building, says Le Figaro. The shots were heard at 91, rue de la Chapelle. Four passers-by were hit by pellets. A 27-year-old man was hit in the buttock, a homeless man in the left hand, and two other people were injured in the right hand and abdomen, says Le Figaro. They were hospitalized after paramedics arrived.

The police who arrived on the scene learned that the shots came from the window of a building. Law enforcement arrested a suspect. To this day, we do not know his motives. The facts caused the closure of the Porte de La Chapelle metro station, on line 12. Two victims filed a complaint.
