A delivery driver from Toul, in Meurthe-et-Moselle, was convicted in a pimping case on Friday in Nancy. The thirty-something, originally placed under wiretapping in the context of a theft case, received a two-year probationary suspension and a year of house arrest (with electronic bracelets), reports Eastern Republican.
The investigation revealed that he had abused the feelings of a friend who was very much in love with him. “I would do anything for him,” the victim told police. For six months in early 2020, she prostituted herself and gave back most of her earnings to the accused.
“It wasn’t a penny story. My pleasure was to watch her with other men. After I left. I did not see the exchanges of money, ”he maintained at the hearing. The exchanges of messages between them do not indicate the same thing. As when the victim writes: “I have the impression of being a piece of meat in the market”.
