A resident of a building in Roanne (Loire) alerted the police on Sunday evening. As indicated Progress, agents intervened to help one of her neighbors, prostrate in her apartment, with traces of blood on her face and on her clothes. The 20-year-old young woman, five months pregnant, was indeed the victim of beatings by her companion.
The 19-year-old was immediately arrested by the police. A screening revealed a blood alcohol level of 1.36 grams. The young man was placed in a drunk tank, then in police custody. He was then presented on Tuesday before the Roanne prosecutor’s office. Locked down, he will be tried this Wednesday in immediate appearance.
