A major fire broke out along the A55 in the Gacharelle sector in Martigues, learned 20 minutes with the Bouches-du-Rhône firefighters. Nearly 300 firefighters as well as five Canadairs were deployed to overcome the flames.

The fire has already covered ten hectares. The images broadcast on social networks suggest a significant cloud of smoke near homes in Martigues.
