The ceremony begins with a speech from the president of the FFT Gilles Moretton who welcomes the attendance and the atmosphere already there for the tournament qualifiers.

There will be at least 27 French people, 16 men and 11 women, in the first round of Roland-Garros. These could be joined by the Tricolores who will manage to pass the qualifications, which are being played at the moment.
