An 18-year-old student seriously injured Wednesday morning in a “punitive expedition” near his high school in Saint-Denis died this Saturday from his injuries, this town of Seine-Saint-Denis announced.
“We learn with shock and great sadness of the death of Farid, a high school student violently attacked last Wednesday near his school,” declared the municipality of Saint-Denis in a press release posted on social networks. The attack took place a few hours before the death in the same city of a 14-year-old teenager, named Sedan, stabbed to death in the metro. It is not currently known whether the two events are linked.
