A hat-trick from Mbappé, a great Donnarumma and PSG are finally leader after their victory in Reims (0-3)

It was from the great Kylian Mbappé. The Paris Saint-Germain striker was the main architect of PSG’s victory in Reims (0-3), early Saturday evening, during the 12th day of Ligue 1, and allowed his club to take control of Ligue 1 in Nice.

Strongly shaken by the Rémois, Paris was able to count on the realism of the captain of the Blues, in Olympic form on the lawn of Auguste-Delaune (3rd, 59th and 82nd). PSG was also able to count on a great Gianluigi Donnarumma, four days after the defeat in Milan in the Champions League.

He therefore missed a… Kylian Mbappé in Reims. The Champenois caused misery to the Parisians, but without succeeding in achieving their domination. Still fourth, the Rémois will regret their lack of realism.

Mbappé struck from the start

Faced with several absences, it was in a 4-4-2 with Carlos Soler at right back and Nordi Mukiele on the left that PSG presented themselves on the pitch at Auguste-Delaune. This did not prevent him from catching his opponent cold with an overflow from Ousmane Dembélé on the right and a cross that Mbappé nicely volleyed from the right to open the scoring (0-1, 3rd). Little in sight in Milan in the middle of the week (2-1 defeat), the former Monegasque started his match perfectly.

Not enough to dampen the plans of Reims, however. Because Wil Still’s Champenois were determined to take the Parisians by the throat with intense high pressing which bore fruit. Soler logically struggled in his lane, Mohammed Daramy and the hyperactive Junya Ito insisted in his zone. The first, however, was offside before serving the second who thought he had equalized (7th). Aligned at the forefront, Marshall Munetsi shot above the target (20th).
