A 10-year-old girl was kidnapped in front of her establishment in Grenoble by her father and a hooded man. She was at that time with her mother. An investigation has been opened.
A kidnapping alert was triggered this Thursday evening after the kidnapping of a 10-year-old girl in Fontaine, in Isère, Thursday morning around 8:30 am.
The child was with his mother on Boulevard Joliot-Curie in Fontaine when his father, accompanied by another hooded man, abducted her by force. The accomplice assaulted the mother by spraying her with tear gas.
A family conflict at the origin of the kidnapping
The young girl, named Eya, measures 1m60, has brown eyes, long hair (below the buttocks) and brown. She is of normal build, described as looking older than her age. She was dressed in “black pants with small white flowers, a brown jacket with white sleeves, American football type jacket” and wore black shoes.
The suspect, Khaled Sassi, father of Eya, is a 53-year-old man, of large build, measuring 1m80, with brown eyes, likely to drive in a gray vehicle, a Peugeot type 306 registered AD -663-TF or a Renault Clio registered FZ-176-XC. He wore a brown/beige hoodie and sweatpants.
The origin of this kidnapping would be found in a family dispute in connection with a problem of custody rights. The Grenoble public prosecutor’s office is following the investigation carried out by the departmental security directly.
“All the police services in Europe and in Tunisia have already been informed of the searches launched,” added the prosecution.
